Our Profile

             The Cochin College, Cochin is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. It is the only college in the Western part of Cochin and provides quality education in Commerce, Science and Arts. Though started as a college to provide education at the Pre-Degree level, it has in course of time been upgraded to a first grade college and further to a post graduate college. The highlights of this institution are the following
               
             * The College is known for its highly accomplished faculty with more than half the teachers possessing research degrees and a few of them in the threshold of acquiring them.

             * The Chemistry department of the college has the unique distinction of producing the first rank in the Mahatma Gandhi University for a continuous peroid of last 7 years.

             * The College has a place of pride in the society in the sense that it has helped to promote education among the Muslim community especially among women who come from highly conservative homes.
