The Management of the college is vested with the managing committe of the Cochin Education Society. It is headed by the President, and the executive head is the Secretary. The Secretary normally functions as the Manager of the college. The Manager appoints the staff in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Government from time to time. The unique feature of the Management is its cosmopolitan nature. Members are from all the prominent communities and the college is one of the few instituions in the state where there is no "Community Quata" both in the case of appointment of staff and in the admission of students.

                 The administrative head is the Principal. The internal affairs of the college are administered by the Principal in consultation with the statutorily constituted college council. All heads of teaching departments are members of the council by virtue of their position. In addition, three teacher representatives are elected biennially by the teaching fraternity. Each department has its own teachers, technical and laboratory staff for the Scence Departments, all under the leadership of the Head of the Department.

                 The Principal is assisted by the college office which is headed by a Senior Superintendent. The hierarchy consists of the office supdt. accountant, upper division clerks, lower division clerks, typists and last grade staff.

                 The entire teaching and non-teaching staff have collectively established a college credit society which provides loans to all its members at reasonable rates of interest. The society is functioning profitably and is managed by a director board consisting of both teaching and non-teaching staff.
